Training

Unipower offers customised training in instrument handling and measurement techniques as well as courses in Power Quality as a powerful and effective means of sharing our knowledge and expertise. Our training modules focus on all steps in the measurement process, from planning through measurements to evaluation and mitigating activities. We emphasise on practical instrument handling and training where the theoretical knowledge is used in reality.

Research

An important part of our activities is the research that we conduct together with universities and colleges (e.g. the Chalmers University of Technology and the University College of Borås). The purpose of this research is to create new and more powerful methods to measure the power quality in electrical grids. Research is currently being conducted at doctoral level in the field of flicker, where new and powerful measuring methods to trace the flicker source have been developed. A patent has been applied for these measuring methods.
