Cable Glands Ducab Connect is the first company with a number of new developments including gland kits, zero halogen (LSF) glands and compound filled barrier glands. Ducab Connect offers cable glands for a wide range of requirements from simple industrial applications to hazardous areas, for both on and offshore applications. These glands are manufactured under BS EN ISO 9001 Quality System and are designed to meet stringent national and international standards. Connectors & Tooling Ducab Connect offers a comprehensive range of connectors for all types of industrial applications, together with a sophisticated installation tooling system. These connectors have been designed, manufactured and tested to meet the requirements of BS 4579, ensuring that the customer receives the best connector for his application every time. As the UK's leading manufacturer of cable accessories, BICC Components is widely acknowledged as being the pioneer in design, testing and manufacturer of copper, aluminum and bi-metallic connectors. Cleats and Cable Fixings ICC Components offer a complete selection of cable cleat and fixing accessories to suit the majority of L.V., M.V. and H.V cables, offering the user the ability to match individual site requirements with the most appropriate product for their application. They are also designed and manufactured to the highest performance standards. To complement the range of cleats, we also offer a number of specially designed accessories. Cable Joints and Terminations Ducab Connect range of joints provides the means of jointing
all major types of power cables up to 36kV. This includes screened
and belted paper insulation (PILC/PICAS) and a variety of polymeric
insulation materials such as cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
or ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR). Transition joints are also
available to permit the connection of dissimilar cables. Ducab Powerplus medium voltage cables of 11kV and 33kV are widely used in power utility transmission and distribution systems. Although the common reference standard is IEC 60502 - 2, most utilities modify the cable constructions to suit their specific needs, like modifications in the outer sheath material, the embossing on the sheath, the thickness of the extended layers etc. Low Voltage Power Cables
